Just a good week👍🏼

here's a picture of me and elder Jagneaux at the met.
Hey everybody how is it going?? This week has been really good for me,
I hope that you all had a good week as well.

So we finished teaching Gustavo all the lessons, we had to teach him
like three straight days so that he will be ready for his baptismal
interview later tonight. I said it in my last email but I'm really
happy that him and his family back on the right path, Gustavo is a
really awesome dude and he's ready to take this step in his life, he
also told us that he wants to go on a mission when he turns 18 so
that's also awesome. I'm super grateful that I got to stay here in
this area for this long and to help him get baptized, we had a lesson
with him on Saturday at the bishops house, at the end of the lesson
the bishop asked Gustavo if he's going to seminary and he wasn't
because his mom was to scared because it's too early and dark outside
and she doesn't want him to go out by himself, so every morning me and
elder Jagneaux have been waking up 30 minutes earlier then usual to
run to his house and pick him up and then take the bus to the church
so that he can go to seminary, sometimes it's super hard to get up
because we're so dang tired but it's a really good service opportunity
and we get some exercise out of it as well.

Last Sunday we got this awesome referral from some other missionaries,
this guy is super cool, his name is Luis and he's from the DR, he has
met with the missionaries down there and has been taught pretty much
everything, but he came here like a week ago and he came to church and
found the missionaries by himself but it was the wrong ward and they
passed him over to us and ever since then we have been teaching him
and it's been super awesome to teach him because he is really honest
and he really wants to change his life around because he has had so
many problems and trials in his life and he still does but he has been
reading the Book of Mormon and coming to church a lot and he already
knows that it's true so when he goes back to the DR he's gonna get
married to the bishops daughter and he's also gonna get baptized over
there as well, so we're basically teaching him the rest of the lessons
he's gonna make a little bit of money here and then go back.

So we've been tracting a whole bunch this week like usual and we
tracted into a whole bunch of English people that we could not teach
so we passed them off to the English missionaries but we also found
this super cool guy his name is Joel and we set up a return
appointment so hopefully he comes through because he seemed really
interested.
