Pday on Thursday

| Freedom Tower |
This week has been all over the place but it been kinda fun, actually
to start out it has been super fun. Last pday Wednesday me and elder
Wilson went down to south Manhattan to go to the freedom tower, it was
SUPER fun, the elevator ride alone was worth the money because it was
a really cool but the view form the top of the tower was amazing and
we basically saw the whole city from the top.
Like you all know already we go and serve food to these old people
every Tuesday and Friday but this week they invited us to go on
Thursday as well, because this lady her name is Mary had her birthday
and she turned 100 years old, she was born here and has lived here her
whole life, that's pretty crazy. Right now she is 100 years and 7 days
old and still drinks her coffee and tea every day and still seems to
be in good shape, makes me wonder about the word of wisdom is it
true??? Haha jk don't drink coffee or tea it's not good for you.
Saturday we got shot calls to see if we get transferred and im still
staying in Kingsbridge for another cycle with elder Wilson, but the
companion of elder Salceda elder rankin left and his new companion is
elder Gallego, he's the kid that's in Jill's ward so that pretty cool.
Monday we had a district meeting and they told us that we are not
having transfer meetings anymore because the Apostles said, I really
liked transfer meetings😕 also a little while ago they took always
Yankees games so that's a bummer because I was looking forward to
going because everybody said it was a lot of fun.
After the district meeting we came home to eat some lunch and elder
Wilson told me that he wasn't feeling good and that he was gonna take
a little nap and the nap after the nap he woke up and told me that
there was no way that he was able to go out and do some work because
it felt like he was getting the flu and later that night he was
throwing up. The next day it didn't get any better and we were in the
apartment the whole day, it was the most boring day of my whole
mission it's was even worse then knocking on doors for hours and
nobody answering. By the end of the day I had almost read all of the
Our Heritage booklet, had like over 3 hours of language study and
watched all the videos on the prophets of the church in the gospel
library app.
On Wednesday we had a worldwide devotional for all the missionaries
that was about 2 hours long, some of the people we got to hear from
was Elder Anderson, Elder Bednar, Sister Oscarson, Brother Clayton and
Elder Oaks and some other people I can't remember right now but the
devotional was really good. And that is the reason why I didn't wright
a letter yesterday was because of this devotional and they didn't want
us to have to take time from pday so we are having pday today. And
today we are actually going to the Temple to do some Initiatories, it
will be super awesome. I think this will probably be my 3rd time going
and I wish we could go more often but we'll take what we can get.
Anybody who has a temple recommend and who has a temple close by
should be going as mush as possible because the blessing of the Temple
are incredible. D&C 43:16
Love,
Elder Pugmire
