Mucho frío
So this week has been a REALLY cold week, yesterday we had lookups
planned for about 3 hours after church because we had no lessons set
and literally out of like 30 people that we looked up in that 3 hours
only one person answered the door and she seemed pretty interested so
we set up a return appointment for Wednesday it turns out that her
little brother took the missionary lessons about 2 years ago so shes
pretty familiar with the missionaries but never actually sat in the
lessons but anyways as I was saying before that it was super cold it
was like 15 but with the wind it was like 5, I was wearing a sweater
and 2 jackets and still almost froze to death haha this year is by far
colder then last year❄️🌨 also it snowed a whole bunch.
So like I said before we do a whole bunch of lookups and right now we
don't have a lot of solid investigators that we are teaching because
the mbachi family from Angola that we teach got baptized Saturday and
Sunday they got confirmed members, so the sad part of this is that
they wanna be part of the English ward instead of the Spanish ward
because only the mom speaks Spanish but that's ok because we will
still visit them for a couple of weeks before we pass them off to the
English missionaries and also we will, see them at church every
Sunday, they are such an amazing family and their faith in Christ is
really really strong. They are just awesome.
That is all for this week.
Love elder Pugmire
